Artist Reflection

Write a 3 paragraph artist statement answering the following questions:

1.      What is the strongest area (concerning technical execution) of the piece of work you made?  Why? The strongest area of the piece of work i’ve made is switching colors and moving the letter around.Also when i had to keep switching things do it will let me do something else. It was hard for me at first because i wasn't concentrated in class and i kept telling myself that i couldn’t do it. I couldn’t focus because i was playing to much instead of doing my work.

2.     What area of your work can be improved on? How?

The area of my work that can be improved was copying the letter to make another one because basically it all looked the same and same shape. For it to be better i had to move it around,do different color and shapes and make it seems like it was hard.instead of leaving it in one shape and all i did was changed the color.

3.      What was easy about this art activity? Explain.

The only thing i found easy about this art activity was when you switch color and move the letter around. I found it easy after i learned how to do it. The reason i find it easy now is because i actually pay attention after and focus on it and not play around like i did in class and i learned by watching and follow what the teacher was telling me to do.

4.      What was difficult about this art activity? Explain.

The difficult about this art activity is very stressful because i didn’t know what to do and i also didn’t pay attention while the teacher was explaining and i was joking and  decided not to focus when i had too. So that’s why it was hard and difficult and also because there’s a lot of students and one teacher and she won’t be able to help us all at once

5.      What mediums (materials) did you use? What tools in Photoshop/Illustrator did you use?How did you use them? Be specific.

I used selecting tools, brush tools,paint tools and the layers. I used them by moving things around and coloring it so it can look better and colorful

6.      How did you demonstrate the objective (the goal) in this art activity?I

demonstrate the objective in this art activity generate a photoshop document with a composition made up of one letter of the alphabet

7. If you could do this art activity again, what would you do differently?

If it was to do it again i would bother my teacher less because now i actually know what to do and move my letter around and switch the color and change those color and put a brighter color and more better because i know how to use the tools
